La Barrilla que da título a este mural ubicado en el teleclub de Nazaret, es un elemento de la tierra, la principal fuente de ingresos de Lanzarote por allá por los siglos XVII hasta casi el XIV gracias a la sosa cáustica que se obtenía de esta, y por consecuencia el jabón con el se aseaban en toda Europa.
Una pintura no evidente da pie a interpretaciones al libres del espectador, a la reflexión, pero varios temas construyen esta pieza: dos manos, el azul intenso, la barrilla y los contorno de dos lugares llamados Nazaret, uno donde esta localizado este mural y otro en la costa de Portugal, muy conocido por sus olas gigantes.
Las dos manos, representando por un lado el gesto de unión por su postura y acción, y por otro el de la mano de obra más dura, la recogida de la barrilla.

The Barrilla, which gives title to this mural located in the teleclub of Nazareth, is an element of the land, the main source of income of Lanzarote back in the seventeenth to almost the fourteenth centuries thanks to the caustic soda obtained from it, and consequently the soap with which they washed themselves throughout Europe.
A non-obvious painting gives rise to free interpretations of the viewer, to reflection, but several themes build this piece: two hands, the intense blue, the barrel and the contours of two places called Nazaret, one where this mural is located and another on the coast of Portugal, well known for its giant waves.
The two hands, which represent, on the one hand the gesture of union by their posture and action, and on the other hand the hardest labor, the recollection of the barrilla.

Genero mi trabajo por medio de la observación de todo y todos los que me rodean, pero sobre todo la paciencia.
Empecé a observar prácticas artísticas y artesanas desde que tengo uso de razón, y de ahí baso todo lo que proyecto. No trato de bombardear, sino de aportar, lo mejor que me puede pasar es tener un error y aprender de este aunque me joda.
La pintura es mi expresión más importante y más fuerte, desde que conocí la historia del arte y sus pintores enamoré de esta vida, me gusta mirar atrás y ver que se ha hecho, muchos murieron sin ser nada en vida, pero son gigantes en la actualidad, así que en cierta manera no me importa no ser un gigante de nuestro tiempo si soy fiel a lo que creo que es el arte. Cada día tengo un plato de comida frente a mi, gracias a pintura y a mi persona; de momento me es suficiente.
Me gusta el trabajo, el concepto, la técnica, la libertad, el movimiento y vomitar todo esto en un soporte tanto si es en la calle o en un lienzo, quizás algún día cambie, pero por ahora este es mi discurso.

Txemy is synonymous of colour, this artist adores colours. A glance at his work is more than enough to recognise it.
His origination is created through apparently meaningless coloured lines. Lines in which the observer can get lost. But, once the work is completed, we can see those lines were fully intended and come alive through its vibrant colours, just to allow the observer to dive in the great sea of his imagination.
With Txemy, art is innovation, however, he bases his work on the study and observation of the labour of great artists who have been essential to his training and the development of current work. Artists like Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock and Basquiat, among others.

Sebastián Ramos “El Puntero” Punta del Hidalgo, Tenerife, Islas Canarias (1894–1976) uno de los más importantes cantadores que ha dado el folclore de las Islas a lo largo de la historia. Sebastián nació en el pueblo costero Punta del Hidalgo, de ahí su apodo “El Puntero”, su voz fue todo un ejemplo de pureza y honestidad. A día de hoy sigue siendo el referente en el folclore canario para todos los apasionados y profesionales.

Sebastián Ramos “El Puntero” Punta del Hidalgo, Tenerife, Canary Islands (1894-1976) one of the most important singers of the island’s folklore throughout history. Sebastián was born in the coastal village of Punta del Hidalgo, hence his nickname “El Puntero”. His voice was a marvellous example of honesty and purity. To this day, he keeps being a reference in Canarian folklore to all of the professionals and music lovers.
CAMPEONES DE TODO (2017)
Campeones de todo es un proyecto que consiste en la publicación de un libro que pivota sobre la trayectoria de los dos deportistas tinerfeños más universales: Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma y Sergio Rodríguez Gómez. La obra glosa en breves capítulos algunas de las historias más singulares de la evolución de ambos jugadores, desde su infancia a la actualidad. Su autor es el periodista Manoj Daswani, jefe de Deportes de Radio Club Tenerife y redactor de La Opinión de Tenerife, que ha realizado decenas de entrevistas a los dos protagonistas a lo largo de varios años y para distintos soportes.
La agencia DALE ha dado forma a los testimonios de los protagonistas, a sus confesiones y a las de aquellos que mejor les conocen. El resultado final es una publicación en la que se han cuidado tanto el envoltorio como el contenido. Un libro a todo color con más de 175 páginas que incluye algunas historias desconocidas y que han protagonizado ambos deportistas a lo largo de sus respectivas carreras. Pero también un sinfín de imágenes, algunas de ellas inéditas, que descubren momentos claves en su camino a la cima.
El proyecto ve la luz con tres propósitos fundamentales:
Dar a conocer algunas de las historias menos conocidas de la trayectoria de Pedro y Sergio Rodríguez, dos iconos tinerfeños universales, y poner en valor sus méritos deportivos y humanos.
Conseguir financiación para los proyectos sociales que apadrinan ambos deportistas a través de sus diferentes empresas y fundaciones.
Ofrecer al comprador un producto de calidad, un buen rato de lectura y un extraordinario regalo que, además, tiene fines benéficos.

Champions of everything is a project that consists of the publication of a book that pivots on the trajectory of the two most universal athletes from Tenerife: Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma and Sergio Rodríguez Gómez. The work summarizes in brief chapters some of the most unique stories of the evolution of both players, from their childhood to the present. Its author is the journalist Manoj Daswani, head of Sports of Radio Club Tenerife and editor of La Opinión de Tenerife, who has conducted dozens of interviews with the two protagonists over several years and for different media.
The DALE agency has shaped the testimonies of the protagonists, their confessions and those from who know them best. The final result is a publication in which both the packaging and the content have been taken care of. A full-colour book with more than 175 pages that includes some unknown stories that both athletes have starred throughout their respective careers. But also endless images, some of them unpublished, that discover key moments on their way to the top.
The project raises with three fundamental purposes:
To make known some of the lesser-known stories of the trajectory of Pedro and Sergio Rodríguez, two universal icons of Tenerife, and to value their sporting and human merits.
Get financing for social projects sponsored by both athletes through their different companies and foundations.

MANOJ DASWANI

Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Durante su etapa académica se especializó en Comunicación Política y Periodismo Deportivo.
En la actualidad ejerce como jefe de Deportes de Radio Club Tenerife, de la cadena SER. Dirige y presenta el espacio Radio Club Deportivo, líder de audiencia en su franja horaria, y su participación es habitual en los programas nacionales Carrusel deportivo y El larguero. A sus 34 años, ya ha participado de la cobertura de los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres y Río.
También ejerce como redactor del periódico La Opinión de Tenerife desde 2002 y es corresponsal en Canarias del diario As desde 2008. Antes, trabajó para la cadena COPE, en cuya redacción en Tenerife se estrenó en antena con solo 18 años.
En 2012 recibió del Cabildo Insular el Premio a la Excelencia 2.0 en el Periodismo Deportivo. Es directivo de la Asociación de la Prensa Deportiva de Tenerife (APDT). Además, colabora con Deportes Cuatro y el digital eldorsal.com. Su trayectoria periodística destaca por su versatilidad, pues ha superado con éxito los desafíos que se le han encomendado en los más distintos ámbitos y soportes: medios escritos, radio, televisión e internet.
MANOJ DASWANI

Degree in Communication Sciences from the European University of Madrid. During his academic stage, he specialized in Political Communication and Sports Journalism.
He currently serves as head of Sports for Radio Club Tenerife, of the SER radio station. He directs and presents the Radio Club Deportivo space, audience leader in his time slot, and his participation is usual in the national programs Carousel sports and El larguero. At 34, he has already participated in the coverage of the London and Rio Olympic Games.
He also works as editor of the newspaper La Opinión de Tenerife since 2002 and is a correspondent in the Canary Islands for the newspaper As since 2008. Before, he worked for the COPE radio station, whose writing in Tenerife was premiered on the air with only 18 years.
In 2012 he received from the Insular Council the Prize for Excellence 2.0 in Sports Journalism. He is the director of the Association of the Sports Press of Tenerife (APDT). Besides, he collaborates with Deportes Cuatro and eldorsal.com digital. His journalistic career stands out for its versatility, as it has successfully overcome the challenges entrusted to it in the most diverse fields and media: written media, radio, television and internet.
PEDRO RODRÍGUEZ LEDEZMA

Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma es el futbolista tinerfeño más universal de todos los tiempos. Creció al sur de la isla de Tenerife, en Abades, donde forjó sus primeras amistades. Un ojeador del FC Barcelona le vio jugar en un torneo en Adeje y le reclutó para el club catalán, donde se fue abriendo paso hasta debutar con su primer equipo. En su meteórica trayectoria deportiva fue clave Guardiola, que le brindó galones de titular junto a una quinta de futbolistas sobresalientes.
Pedro, que ganó todos los títulos posibles, se convirtió en el primer jugador en marcar un gol en cada una de las competiciones que disputó con su club hasta completar un ciclo perfecto. Sus cualidades también las puso al servicio de la selección, con la que conquistó un Mundial y una Eurocopa. En agosto de 2015 se compromete con el Chelsea. Ha firmado por cuatro temporadas.

Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma is the most universal player from Tenerife of all time. He grew up in Southern Tenerife, in Abades, where he forged his first friendships. A scout of FC Barcelona saw him play in a tournament in Adeje and recruited him to the Catalan club, where he made his way to debut with his first team. Guardiola was key in his meteoric sports career, which gave him gallons of headline along with a fifth of outstanding players.
Pedro, who won all possible titles, became the first player to score a goal in each of the competitions he played with his club until completing a perfect cycle. His qualities were also at the service of the national team, with which he won a World Cup and a European Championship. In August 2015 he commits to Chelsea football club. He has signed for four seasons.
SERGIO RODRÍGUEZ GÓMEZ

Sergio Rodríguez Gómez es el base canario con más títulos en la historia de su deporte. Su idilio con la pelota y el aro se forjó en su casa de El Ortigal antes de encandilar a los técnicos del Siglo XXII, una escuela de talentos en Bilbao que le acogió durante una etapa providencial en su carrera. El Estudiantes acabó de modelar su talento, si bien fue el Real Madrid el club con el que alcanzó las más altas cotas.
Así, se convirtió en un auténtico coleccionista de títulos. Ni un solo trofeo falta en su palmarés, que agrandó todavía más con la selección. En 2006 conquistó el Mundial. Seis años después, fue el primer tinerfeño en ganar una medalla olímpica.
Su próximo reto es consagrarse en la NBA, donde ya jugó para los Blazers, los Knicks y Sacramento cuando apenas había cumplido 20 años. Ahora ha regresado para enrolarse en los Philadelphia 76ers.
SERGIO RODRÍGUEZ GÓMEZ

Sergio Rodríguez Gómez is the Canarian base with the most titles in the history of his sport. His idyll with the ball and the hoop was forged at his home in El Ortigal before dazzling the technicians of the 12th century, a talent school in Bilbao that welcomed him during a providential stage in his career. The Students have just modeled their talent, although Real Madrid was the club with which it reached the highest levels.
Thus, he became a true collector of titles. Not a single trophy is missing in his medal, which enlarged even more with the selection. In 2006 he won the World Cup. Six years later, he was the first man from Tenerife to win an Olympic medal.
His next challenge is to devote himself to the NBA, where he has already played for the Blazers, Knicks and Sacramento when he was just 20 years old. He has now returned to enroll in the Philadelphia 76ers.
